Metro New York/Florida Service General Information
are staffed by two professional drivers and an attendant on board our wide-body, air conditioned,
lavatory-equipped coaches. Snacks, beverages, movies and music (via headsets) and pillows are provided
on all trips.
Metro New York/Florida Service:
Trips run on a regular schedule to Florida beginning Sunday, October 9, 2016.
The Final 2016/2017 trip will depart Wednesday, June 7, 2017

Departures and Destinations:
Passengers traveling with their vehicles to or from Florida may board or disembark at any of these locations: Southampton and Farmingville, Long Island, New York; Rocky Hill (Hartford), Connecticut (on select trips); East Windsor, New Jersey;
Fayetteville, NC; Jacksonville (Kingsland, Georgia), Titusville, West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale, Florida on all trips.
On select trips, West Coast service to or from Tampa (Wesley Chapel), Sarasota and Fort Myers,
Florida is available. If you are traveling without a vehicle, other pick-up and drop-off
locations may be available. Please ask your reservationist.
Passengers may bring two suitcases not to exceed 50 lbs. each, and one overnight bag,
all to be put in the luggage bay, (additional charges will be assessed for overweight baggage).
You may carry one small tote bag on board. It is advisable to carry a sweater while on board the bus.
Brief stops are made about every three and a half hours. Lunch stops, both days, are about one hour.
Smoking and pets are prohibited.
Please advise us in advance if you have any special needs or medical
conditions which we should be aware of. Passengers traveling
with oxygen need to request guidlines for traveling and storing tanks.

Cars will be loaded onto commercial car carriers under contract to Hampton
Jitney. The car carriers and bus arrive at their destination at
approximately the same time; the cars will be unloaded in the lot at each
location. We require one set of door, ignition and trunk keys to
transport your car. You MUST have a second set available for car
pick-up, as the keys will be locked in the vehicle upon delivery.
Check-in and delivery arrangements are different for "car only's", so please
consult with our Florida sales office.
Delays are always a possibility; therefore, any items you will need
within a few days of your arrival must either be sent ahead or kept in your possession.
Hampton Jitney is not liable for delays caused by conditions beyond our
control and does not guarantee to arrive or depart from a particular point at a specific time.
Hampton Jitney and the car carriers are insured up to $50,000 per
vehicle. Personal property weighing up to 200 pounds may be locked
in the trunk of your car, or the rear cargo area of SUV's or hatchbacks. Personal property is not included in our
insurance coverage. Overloaded cars will be assessed an additional
carrying fee at the time of check-in. Anything left in the interior
of the car will incur a fine starting at $25.
Please read the car shipment contract for additional shipping, insurance and
claim information. Neither Hampton Jitney nor the car carriers are
responsible for cars once delivered to the agreed destination.
CLAIMS MUST BE CALLED IN WITHIN 24 HOURS OF DELIVERY. ALL CLAIMS ARE
SUBJECT TO A $250 DEDUCTIBLE.
Oversized/overweight vehicles will incur an additional
charge. Cars may have only a quarter (1/4) tank of gas or less at the
time of shipping. A fee will be charged for additional
fuel. Please have your car serviced and checked for leaking fluids
before shipment. Alarm systems must be deactivated prior to
shipping. E-ZPasses may operate while your car is on the
carrier. Please contact the E-ZPass customer service center at
1-800-333-8655 to request a "No Read Bag" and/or wrap it in several layers of heavy duty aluminium foil.
Hampton Jitney is not responsible for fees incurred if your E-ZPass is read en-route.
Overnight Hotel Accommodations:
En Route: We stop overnight in North Carolina; dinner, breakfast
and accommodations are included in your fare. There is
no baggage handling available. Please bring an overnight bag you
can manage yourself.
Pre/Post Travel Hotel rooms prior
to departure or upon arrival can be arranged by a Hampton Jitney representative at a
corporate rate (availability
is not guaranteed).
Important Travel & Car Shipment Policy Notes:
Advance reservations are necessary to guarantee travel on the date you
desire. Waiting lists will be assigned to any dates which sell
Payment is due in full at the time of booking.
Requests for specific seats cannot be honored, although we will make every
effort to assign seats in the general area of the coach that you desire (front,
middle, rear). Seating is assigned based on date of reservation,
so we encourage you to try and book early.
Trip confirmations are mailed out two months before departure date. Seat
assignments and luggage tags are mailed out separately two weeks prior to departure.
Changes in reservations can be made only if space is available. A
surcharge of $25 is applicable to each change, and is subject to cancellation
PASSENGER CANCELLATION POLICY: Refunds for passenger cancellations will be issued for the prepaid amount minus
these cancellation charges: More than 30 days
before departure = $25 per person. 14-30 days before
departure = $50 per person. 5-13 days before
departure = $100 per person. Canceling four(4) days before departure or less,
and no shows, will result in NO REFUND.
CAR CANCELLATION POLICY: More than 30 days before departure = $25 per vehicle. 14-30 days before departure = $100 per vehicle. 5-13 days before departure,, car cancellation fees will start at $350.
Canceling 4 days or less before departure, and no-shows will result in NO REFUND.
Notification of cancelled reservations must be made directly to Hampton Jitney's Florida Service Department.
Phone messages will not constitute official notification. You must speak with one of our representatives.
Our cancellation policy will be strictly enforced; therefore, it is highly recommended that
you obtain travel insurance. You may use any travel insurance company or TravelLite (Travelex Insurance Services)
at : 1-800-228-9792.
Car shipment cancellation and
refund policy information is on the car transport contract that is sent with
your booking confirmation. The car inspection and shipment contract
also contain other important provisions regarding the shipment of your
car. Please read your contract carefully before signing.
If you would like a copy before booking, please call. Cars more than
15 years old, and some specialty car models, require a vehicle waiver.
ANY ITEMS YOU WILL NEED WITHIN A FEW DAYS OF YOUR ARRIVAL SHOULD BE SENT
AHEAD OR KEPT WITH YOU. WE CANNOT BE LIABLE FOR DELAYS CAUSED BY
CONDITIONS BEYOND OUR CONTROL AND DO NOT GUARANTEE TO ARRIVE OR DEPART FROM A
PARTICULAR POINT AT A SPECIFIC TIME.
On-board baggage liability maximum free value allowance is $250 on each adult fare

perfection, we cannot be responsible for deficiencies in performance on the part of
hotels, baggage handlers, restaurants or other provided services.
Hampton Jitney reserves the right to
adjust pricing at any time due to market fluctuations. Fuel surcharges may be added at any time.
Fully paid reservations are not subject to any price adjustments other than changes in fuel surcharges.
