Day 1 - August 26, 2018 Depart Greenport for your travel upstate to Saratoga Springs with a rest/lunch stop, on your own, along the way.
Visit the Saratoga Springs Visitors Center. Take a 30 minute guided walking tour of this historic city with the history of horse racing, a visit to a spring for mineral water tasting and history, see Victorian mansions, visit the Yaddo Rose Garden, part of the magnificent Yaddo estate, a working artists' community, see Congress Park and view the 15 minute film, “Discover Saratoga”.

Arrive at the Lake George Steamboat for boarding.
Enjoy a 2 ¼ hour dinner cruise aboard the Lac du Saint Sacrament. A hearty dinner in a climate-controlled dining room while viewing the beauty of Lake George and her surrounding mountains in the evening light.

Arrive at theNational Museum of Racing for a 90 minute backstretch walking tour and then some time on your own at the museum and gift shop. This museum is dedicated to preserving the history of 300 years of thoroughbred racing. There are interactive programs, a discovery paddock and the Seabiscuit Statue.
Arrive at Saratoga Race Course for some great thoroughbred horse racing.
Enjoy a wonderful lunch buffet in theAt the Rail Pavilion situated in the Clubhouse (and climate controlled). The At the Rail Pavilion offers a trackside view of all the live racing action and has conveniently located betting windows and restrooms.
Dress Code is Business Casual – NO jeans, shorts or other abbreviated wear. Gentlemen: Collared shirts are required, but sports jackets are optional, ties are optional. Ladies: Dresses, skirts or slacks.
Buffet opens at noon and post time is 1:00 p.m.
