“THE AUDIENCE” ON BROADWAY - STARRING HELEN MIRREN! [SF]
Date(s):
Wednesday - March 11, 2015
Price:
Desc.:
AUDIENCEPOSTER HMPIC The majestic Helen Mirren plays (again) Queen Elizabeth II, who is shown in imagined private conversations with the many prime ministers who have served during her reign.

Synopsis: For sixty years, Elizabeth II of England has met each of her twelve prime ministers in a private weekly audience at Buckingham Palace. Both parties have an unspoken agreement never to repeat what is said — not even to their spouses. The Audience breaks this contract of silence and imagines a series of pivotal meetings between the Downing Street incumbents and their Queen. From Churchill to Cameron, each Prime Minister has used these private conversations as a sounding board and a confessional — sometimes intimate, sometimes explosive. In turn, the Queen can't help but reveal her own self as she advises, consoles and, on occasion, teases.

Tour package includes: Orchestra show ticket, lunch and deluxe round-trip transportation. Not included: Gratuity to motor coach driver and tour escort, which is left to your discretion.
